Presidents Of PSG & Juventus Meet Over Proposed Pogba Transfer

A proposed move for Juventus star, Paul Pogba has been discussed at a Paris hotel between Juventus’ President, Andrea Agnelli and the President of Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

PSG has been linked with the French international for a long time now as they look at fortifying their squad ahead of next season. Pogba’s contract with the Turin-club is valid until 2016 and Juventus wish to extend the contract of the 20 years old with a deal worth €4.5 million per year till 2018.

PSG may offer wages of about €9m-a-year for Pogba  and the French man may force a deal if the French club intensifies their interest in him this coming summer.

If Juventus will sell Pogba, it will definitely be for a huge fee as they would also seek Ezequiel Lavezzi or Lucas Moura as a makeweight in the deal

Do you think Pogba will be playing for PSG next season?

Media Mogulette, Oprah Winfrey Hangs Out With Lupita’s Mom & Brother

Success has many relatives they say!

Media mogulette, Oprah Winfrey yesterday invited the mother and brother of Oscar-winning actress, Lupita Nyong’o over.

Lupita’s mother, Dorothy Nyong’o and her brother (who was seated beside her at the Oscars), Peter Nyong’o were with Oprah on invitation. The trio chatted, ate and drank. Oprah had some nice words for Peter too.

“When your personality matches the energy of your soul, that is when you are truly authentically powerful”.

The rise and rise of Lupita will definitely encourage thousands of Africans.

Presidential Spokesperson Reveals Rufftone Is Kenyatta’s Favourite Artiste

Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta is a big fan of Kenyan music and one of his favourite artistes is Kenyan Gospel singer, Rufftone.

The secretary of communications and presidential spokesperson, Manoah Esipisu in a recent interview with Easy FM revealed this.

‘The President loves Kenyan music. Rufftone is one of his favourites.’ Esipisu said

Rufftone’s hit song, Mungu baba is still a favourite on Kenyan stations despite being released a long time ago. Rufftone had performed the song at the 50th anniversary of the country and has stuck with the people.

Barcelona & Borussia Monchengladbach Reach Agreement For Goalkeeper, Marc-Andre ter Stegen

Spanish club, Barcelona and Borussia Monchengladbach have reached an agreement for the transfer of Marc-Andre ter Stegen. The transfer fee is in the region of €9-12 million and two friendly games in addition.

Barcelona had been in search of a new goalkeeper as a result of the expected departure of Victor Valdes at the end of the current campaign. Tsegen is a German international and he is expected to sign a contract which will keep him with the Catalans till the summer of 2019.

The Spanish champions will likely announce the capture of Ter Stegen when Victor Valdes announces his departure or at the end of the current season

Ter Stegen broke into the first team of Borussia Monchengladbach in the 2010-2011 season and has since featured over a 100 times after joining in from the BMG youth academy.

Kanye West & Kim Kardashian Fix Paris Wedding For May

Kim Kardashian and rapper boyfriend, Kanye West will be getting married in Paris on the 24th of May. Guests have been notified already and I hear the guests would be making the journey to Paris several days before.
A report has revealed astronomers believe they will be a meteor shower that night as they suggest it may be a possible reason for Kim and Kanye opting for that date.

The lovebirds have spent so much time together in Paris over the past months and we hear Kanye is heavily involved in the planning of the wedding which have just about 150 invited guests in attendance

Kim has already revealed to Ryan Seacrest that Kanye wants a “super small” and “super intimate,” ceremony.

She also shared her excitement:

“We realize we want it to be smaller and more intimate than people are imagining and thinking,”

Moyes Pens Emotion-Filled Open Letter To Fans Of Manchester United

Under-pressure manager of Manchester United, David Moyes has written an open letter to the Red Devils’ supporters. The Scot has admitted that his first season has been far from successful but he praised the patience of the fans thus far and has promised that things will definitely get better. He wrote:

“While I knew that this job would be a challenge when I took it on, the difficult season we have experienced was not something that I envisaged, which I am sure is the case as well for you supporters.”

“My players, staff and I are desperate to compensate for that.

“You are accustomed to seeing a successful Manchester United and the backing you have given the players and me throughout the season has been incredible. Away from home the travelling fans have remained the best in the country while at Old Trafford your unwavering faith has been noticeable and hugely welcomed.

“Supporting your team when they are winning is easy but much harder when things are not going as well, and the loyalty you have shown us has been magnificent.”

“Everything we have been through will make us a better, stronger team and club in the future.

“Over the years you have seen great winning sides here and, in time, I have absolutely no doubt that we will see great winning sides here again.”

Manchester United are currently 6th on the Premier League table after 27 games. There is a high tendency that the Red Devils might not make it to the quarter final of this season’s Champions league after losing the first leg encounter of their round of 16 knockout encounter against Greek side, Olympiacos 0-2.

Manchester United Names Juan Mata February Player Of The Month

Petite midfield maestro, Juan Mata has been named Manchester United’s player of the month for February despite watching his team win only one game in the past month; the 2-0 victory at Crystal Palace.
Fans of Manchester United on the club’s six foreign language websites voted for the award and Mata was the chosen one. Patrice Evra and Nemanja Vidic came close at second and third respectively.

For bagging that award, Mata was presented a trophy and a £500 cheque to go to a charity of his choice. The Spaniard was apparently pleased about the recognition accorded to him

‘It’s amazing for me to be awarded with this prize after my first month. I have played just a few games, five games I think, and I am really grateful the fans have voted for me.‘I feel really happy. Life in Manchester is good, I have already found a house, I have a new home and I am trying to know different places around the city. It is a really nice city to live in. It is quiet, relaxing and you can be focused on what is important – playing football.’

Kim Admits Keeping Up With the Kardashians Films Fake Home Exteriors

Kim Kardashian and her family have opened their doors to viewers for seven years on reality smash Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but it turns out not everything the audience sees is real. During a Mobio Insider Q&A with fans on Wednesday, the star admitted the family films fake exteriors of their home for safety reasons.

“My old home in Beverly Hills was really my home and I would get people showing up at all hours ringing my gate and had to call the police on several occasions,” Kardashian, 33, said of her safety concerns. “People hopping the gate and scaring me.”

“It was so unsafe. The Hollywood star tours would stop by too, because they recognized my home from our show,” she continued. “After that we realized how unsafe it is to show the exterior of our homes.”

Wilshere Ruled Out Of Action For Six Weeks

Arsenal and Three Lions midfield stallion, Jack Wilshere will be out of action for six weeks after suffering a hairline fracture of his left foot during England’s friendly against Denmark on Wednesday.

Daniel Agger had tackled Jack strongly thirteen minutes into the game but the Arsenal player played for about 60 minutes before being substituted.

This injury may prove a major setback for Arsenal for whom Wilshere had been integral part of all season. A statement on the North London club’s website read:

“Jack Wilshere has sustained a hairline fracture to the navicular bone in his left foot,”
“Wilshere suffered the injury during England’s international match with Denmark on Wednesday night at Wembley Stadium, in which he played 59 minutes.
“Following initial scans carried out by the FA on Wednesday night, further investigation by Arsenal’s medical team has discovered a crack to a small bone in Jack’s left foot – the navicular, an area of his foot which has not been previously injured.
“Jack will now require a period of approximately six weeks’ rehabilitation, before starting to regain his match fitness.”

Lupita Nyong’o Bags MTV Movie Awards Nomination

MTV today announced the nominees for the “2014 MTV Movie Awards,” setting the stage for an epic showdown between critically-acclaimed films The Wolf of Wall Street and American Hustle, comedic hits We’re the Millers and This Is The End, blockbuster franchises The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and more.

Kenyan Oscar winner and red carpet darling Lupita Nyong’o takes her place among the nominees for this year’s show – a fitting tribute for the actress, who got her first professional on screen acting break on the MTV Base HIV & AIDS awareness drama, Shuga.  Lupita will be going up against A-listers and Hollywood veterans Amy Adams, Jennifer Lawrence, Sandra Bullock and Jennifer Anniston for a coveted Movie Awards trophy in the Best Female Performance category.

Fans can get in on the fierce competition by casting votes for their favorite nominees at www.MovieAwards.MTV.combeginning Thursday 6 March until Saturday 12 April in categories you’ll never see in any other awards show, including Best Comedic Performance, Best Villain, Best Kiss, Best Scared-As-S**t Performance, Best Musical Moment, #WTF Moment, Best On-Screen Duo, Best Fight, Best Shirtless Performance and more.

This year, the “MTV Movie Awards” has the distinction of being the only Awards show to nominate cinematic legend Robert De Niro, Kanye West and Joan Rivers in the same category (Best Cameo), see Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto take on Ice Cube and Kevin Hart (Best On-Screen Duo), and pit Jennifer Aniston against some of the hottest men on the planet (Zac Efron, Chris Hemsworth, Leonardo DiCaprio and Sam Claflin) for the coveted Best Shirtless Performance category.

The show will once again officially kick-off the summer blockbuster season, promising to deliver yet another epically funny, explosive, over-the-top show that features fan favorite films, actors and musicians. In addition, the show will honour the best films and performances from the past year, while featuring exclusive, never-before-seen moments from some of the most highly-anticipated summer films.

Hosted by Emmy Award winning comedian and late night host, Conan O’Brien, the show will take place on Sunday 13 April at the Nokia Theatre LA Live in Los Angeles, California.
