Boko Haram insurgents have reportedly killed two persons and injured one in an attack carried out in Kofa village near Alau, Borno state.

A source told TheCable that the insurgents who came on motorcycles set the village on fire.

“Two people were burnt to aches while one person was hit by a stray bullet during the attack,” the source said.

A security source who confirmed the attack said troops in the area later repelled it.
