Ekiti Gubernatorial Poll: PDP Candidate, Ayo Fayose, Leading With A Wide Margin

The early results from the Ekiti Governorship Elections that held today shows the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP Candidate, Ayodele Fayose, leading with a wide margin.

Then followed by All Progressives Congress, APC’s incumbent Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi. The Candidate of the Labour Party, Bamidele Aturu comes third even as the election results are being announced in the various polling units of the 16 local government areas of the state.

Meanwhile, the governorship candidate of the PDP, Ayo Fayose, on Saturday said he would accept the out come of the election “whichever way it goes.”

Fayose made the declaration after casting his vote at 2:10p.m. at Unit 001 Polling Unit, St. David Primary School, Afao-Ekiti, Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government Area.

“I have campaigned enough, I did all that was necessary in this election; I know my people love me…but I will leave my fate to God,” Fayose said.
