Biography
Olumide Edwards Adegbulu, famously known as Olu Maintain, is a Nigerian musician and producer.
He was born in Lagos State, Nigeria on July 19, 1976.

Olu and his cousin, Tolu Ogunniyi, Adeboye Bammeke, a.k.a. Big Bamo, co-founded the musical group known as Maintain.
Before breaking up in 2004, the group released six albums and had hits with “I Catch a Cold,” “Domitila,” and “Alo.”
Education

Olu Maintain holds a diploma in accounting from The Polytechnic, Ibadan.
Career
While still a student at The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Olu Maintain launched his musical career in 1997. He released his debut album, Domitila, in the same year. It was broadcast in October 1998.
With the release of the well-known song “Yahooze” from his first studio album and a follow-up album, Maintain Reloaded, Olu rose to fame in May 2007. The song mocks online fraud and wasteful spending. Big Bamo was one of the artists featured in the song “Kowonje.”
Yahooze won the Hottest Single of the Year award at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
In London’s Royal Albert Hall in 2008, he performed “Yahooze” and welcomed Colin Powell, a former US secretary of state, to the stage.
The number-one single from his album “With All Due Respect,” “What a Man Can Do,” with Kentro World, was released on July 27, 2009. In January 2012, he released the song “Nawti,” which went on to win Best Video of the Year and Best Reggae/Dancehall Video at the Nigeria Music Video Awards.
He released “Hypnotize Me” (featuring Olivia and 50 Cent) and “Oya Dancia” on January 4, 2013. (featuring Fatman Scoop). He later released other songs such as Olu in Brazil, Excuse My French, and Cinderella.
Marriage
There is no public information about Olu Maintain’s marriage, but he was reportedly rumoured to marry a white woman secretly.
