The real name of Kamo State, also popularly known as Creative Kamo (CKamo) and Officer Kamo, is Akinyoola Ayoola. He is a standup comedian, actor, and skit maker, who came into the limelight following the popularity of his NEPA Boys series, a skit series he did with another skit maker, Ozain Ibadan (Hussein Mubarak Kehinde).

Career
Kamo revealed in an interview that while he was growing up, he was influenced by legendary comedian, Gbenga Adeboye, and radio broadcaster, Kola Olotu.
He started his skit making with the NEPA concept based on things he used to see around him while growing up in Ibadan. According to him, the first episode with his partner, Ozain (Hussein) was “was so easy for us to do”.
Although they both seems not to be making skit together anymore, Kamo and Ozain has grown to be one of the popular skit makers in the industry today.
Kamo featured in Everybody Loves Jenifa, the fastest Nollywood title to generate N1 billion at the box office in 2024.

Although he became active on social media in 2013, he has huge followers on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
Creative Kamo’s net worth cannot be estimated at the moment as his investment and earnings are not public.

Few days after his wedding, netizens criticised Kamo State over a video capturing his newlywed wife, Esther Mide, all alone by herself at the movie premiere, ‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’, produced by film maker Funke Akindele.
While Nollywood actor, Lateef Adedimeji, romantically walked in with his wife, Kamo’s wife was spotted walking alone, with the comedian nowhere in sight to accompany her.
A social media user, princeade22, commented, “Kamo wey no Dey romantic ?elenu shipoti.”
