Who is Olugbile Holloway? The new NCMM D-G appointed by Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr Olugbile Holloway as the Director-General of the National Commission for Museums and Monuments.

This is contained in a statement by Presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale on Thursday in Abuja.

Who is Olugbile Holloway?

Ngelale said that the new DG holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and International Relations and a Master’s degree in Business Administration.

Olugbile holds a MBA in Marketing from the University of Buckingham. He began his advertising career with Image Promotions Nigeria Limited and then moved to Proximity Communications Nigeria, where he worked on campaigns for brands like Cowbell, Top Tea, Onga, and Etisalat.

He then continued on to DDB Lagos where he worked as a brand manager on more leading brands such as MTN, Globe Motors, Martel and Exxon Mobil.

“The President expects that the new Director-General will bring life into this important agency and ensure the preservation, promotion, and development of Nigeria’s diverse tangible and intangible cultural heritage.”

Holloway is the Managing Director of Evoke Communications Limited, a creative brand/consultancy agency.
