Berri Tiga, real name, Agada Blessed Obotu, is a singer and songwriter.
He was born on the 10th of October 2000 in Benue state, Nigeria. Currently, Berri-Tega is 22 years old(2022)
The youngster is one of the fast-growing music talents in Nigeria. His single with Efe Carter has topped several music charts, including the Apple Music chart.
Education
After his primary and secondary education, Berri Tiga proceeded to French Village international college in Badagry for a diploma.
Career
Berri Tiga started music in 2016 by remaking popular songs as a cover, and then uploading them on social media.
With his consistency in creating the covers, he got noticed in 2021 and was signed to Big Brother Management (BBR) Record Label.
He rose to prominence in 2022 when he was featured in Efe Carter’s hit track, Machala. The song was an ode to music star, Wizkid.
The song gained acceptance among Wizkid FC and other music lovers. The song rose ro number two and debut on TurnTable Nigeria Top 100. It also tops the Apple Music Nigeria Top 100 chart.
The song also became a favourite for nightclubs and public events.

Berri was caught in a controversy when he publicly proclaimed that he wrote “Machala” but hasn’t been given the credit and credit he deserved for the craft.
He revealed this in an Instagram video where he explained that the sharing formula of the 70:30 split of royalty hadn’t been fulfilled. He further explained that instead of fulfilling the royalty, Efe Carter offered to buy him out with a sum of 100 thousand naira.
Reacting to this allegation, Efe Carter said, “Hotkid get verse for Machala song, I personally tell producer X to remove it because Berri cry give me say Hotkid go collect him shine for the song. Now you dey claim sa na you get song for Instagram,”
