Africa is the second-most populous continent with about 1.4 billion people after Asia which has about 4.7 billion.

It covers 20% of Earth’s land area and 6% of its total surface area.

Here are the top 10 most populous countries in Africa;

10. Sudan

Sudan is a country in Northeast Africa. It is bordered with the Central African Republic to the southwest, Chad to the west, Egypt to the north, Eritrea to the northeast, Ethiopia to the southeast, Libya to the northwest, South Sudan to the south, and the Red Sea.

Sudan’s population is more than 43 million.
