Ebenezer Akinsanmiro: Nigeria Teenager Who Joined Inter Milan On a Four-Year Deal

A grassroots player from the Nigeria Professional Football League Club, Remo Stars recently signed for the current Italian league champion Inter Milan.

The teenager, Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, was a midfielder who played for Remo stars before his transfer to Italy.

Ebenezer is expected to join the youth team of Inter Milan today after signing a four-year deal.

According to a statement released by Remo Stars, the attacking midfielder was part of the team that helped the team get promotion from the Nigeria National League to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) in the 2020/2021 season.

Extolling the teenager further, the statement reads, “He also featured in the 2021/22 Nigeria Professional Football League.

“Most notably, Ebenezer featured for the academy team, Beyond Limits in The Creative Championship and Viareggio Cup World Football Tournament.

“Everyone at Remo Stars wishes him all the best during his time with Inter Milan.

Popular Italian media website TuttoMercatoWeb reported that Inter Milan has been looking for young talent to include in its youth team that won the Under-19 Scudetto last season.

It reported that the team found Akinsanmiro worthy of joining the youth side after the deal was snatched by Inter, despite interest from other European giants like Real Madrid and Benfica.
