Ije Akunyili, daughter of former NAFDAC DG, Dora Akunyuli, has been appointed as the new chief medical officer of Jersey City Medical Center, in the United States.
A tweet by announcing the development by the American hospital reads; “We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Ije Akunyili, M.D., MBA, MPA, as our new chief medical officer. She is a tremendous asset to our team.”
The news has however generated reactions from Nigerians.
