Biography
Andre Blaze Henshaw is a radio DJ, rapper, television host, and executive producer.
He was born in Port Harcourt on August 14, 1983. Andre Blaze is 39 years old as of 2022.
The famous DJ was a former member of the Tuck Tyght Allstars.
Andre Blaze is a cousin of actress Kate Henshaw-Nuttal.
Education
After his elementary education, Andre proceeded to Bishop Crowther Memorial Secondary School in Port Harcourt. for his secondary education.
He then proceeded to the University of Port Harcourt, where he bagged a degree in linguistics and communication.
Career
Blaze started his career with Epoch Magazine in 2001.
He then moved to Rhythm 93.7 FM Port Harcourt to work as a broadcaster. Andre held several other positions in this capacity, including show host, radio DJ, continuity announcer, and head of the presentation department, where he spent more than six years.
Andre rose to prominence as a member of the defunct hip hop Tuck Tyght Allstars as a rapper.
He later moved to work as a TV personality for Nigezie. He left Nigezie TV in May 2012 after four years to host Nigeria’s Got Talent.
He had previously hosted other reality television talent shows, including Peak Talent Show, True Search, and Battle of the Year. He serves as a trainer for Google’s Digital Skills for Africa program.
Andre is also credited for directing many TV shows, including True Search, Battle of the Year, and Peak Talent Show.
Relationship
Andre Blaze is married with two children, twin girls, by his long-term girlfriend.

In May 2018, Olutimehin Adegbeye allegedly accused Andre Blaze of sexually assaulting her. Olutimehin, who shared her story on Twitter, claimed Blaze had sexually assaulted her about two years before.
She wrote, “Just a friendly reminder that all of you are watching Big Brother are listening to the voice of Andre Blaze Henshaw, who sexually assaulted me while I was incapacitated, in full view of other people, and even thought another woman who saw him tried to make him stop.”
