The Proprietor of Unique Nursery and Primary School, Ilorin, Mr Dele Adeoye has advised youths in the country to prioritise their studies for a certificate before travelling abroad to work.
Adeoye, who gave the advice in Ilorin on Saturday in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria, (NAN), said most youths were desperate to travel abroad to work without having any academic certificate.
According to him, most youths always believe travelling abroad is guaranteed success in life.
”Nigeria youths are becoming too desperate to travel abroad in search of greener pastures. Most of them do not have ordinary primary school certificates to show.
“They prefer to go and start working in factories and subjecting themselves to hard labour and other menial jobs.
“Ensure you pursue your certificate programmes in Nigeria before dreaming of travelling abroad. Travelling abroad does not guarantee success if you fail to plan yourself.
“Stop being desperate to go and become a second class citizen abroad. You can also make it in Nigeria,” he said.
