Boko Haram Terrorists In New Video Says Nigerian Army Is Engaging In Propaganda

Boko Haram Terrorists claimed in a new video on Wednesday that Nigerian security forces have failed on the battlefront and were resorting to a media campaign to deceive the people.

The new video came only hours after multiple bomb blasts killed at least 16 people in Yobe State and seven soldiers were killed on the battlefront early today.

Multiple bomb blasts in Abuja and Maiduguri last week killed about 40 people and injured many others. At least 11 soldiers were killed in Chad on Tuesday morning.

In the new video, the terrorists denied that the military had rescued a number of women and children abducted by Boko Haram as it has claimed in recent weeks. They also denied that some Boko Haram members had surrendered to the Nigerian army.

The militant who spoke without identifying himself re-affirmed their allegiance to the Islamic State group and its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

He said Abubakar Shekau, who hasn’t appeared in a video since February, is still the head of the terrorist organisation which pledged allegiance to the Islamic State in March and renamed itself Islamic State West Africa Province or SWAP.
