Remodelled Makurdi Airport Terminal Ready Soon – FAAN

The Federal Airport Authority Sunday promised air travelers that the remodelled Makurdi airport Terminal will soon be completed and commissioned. It says the airport terminal is also being remodelled with emphasis on safety and security.

The Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Eng Sale Dunoma stated this while inspecting work at the Makurdi Airport over the weekend.
He called on the contractor to follow the specifications as FAAN engineers will continue to monitor progress of work closely.

While being conducted round the terminal building by Olatokunbo Arewa, Makurdi Airport Manager, Eng Dunoma expressed confidence that the terminal will make Makurdi attractive to airlines for scheduled operations.

The Managing Director inspected the Arrival and halls, lounges, Toilets and potential spaces for commercial offerings.

The MD was accompanied by the Bar Ikechi Uko, Director of Administration, Abubakar Achimugu, GM, Business Development, Mr. O. Nwobu, Airport Manager, Akanu Ibiam International Airport Enugu and Yakubu Dati.
The delegation also inspected the new Cargo terminal under construction where he expressed satisfaction with the level of work.
