NOA Lauds Confab Delegates On Adoption Of The Second Stanza As Prayer

The National Orientation Agency, NOA has lauded the National Conference delegates for the adoption of the second stanza of the Nigeria’s National Anthem as opening prayer during deliberations.

The DG, Mr Mike Omeri, who made the commendation yesterday, said it was a patriotic step for national integration, that should be emulated by all Nigerians.

According to him “this is very commendable. It is a patriotic step for National integration and justifies NOA’s call for Nigerians to seek out the things that bind us than those that divide us.

The NOA has been advocating for the adoption of second stanza as a National prayer in public places as binding force for national cohesion.

Other federal government organs notably, the Federal Executive Council (FEC), the two chambers of the National Assembly and some States of the federation have similarly adopted the second stanza as opening prayer in their offices.
