Widespread Probe Looms As JAMB Remits N5billion In One Year

Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, has said the Federal Government will probe former registrars of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, after the board remitted five billion Naira to the FG for the last year.

Speaking after the Federal Executive Council meeting yesterday, Adeosun said the disparity between JAMB’s remittances in just one year of current registrar Is-haq Oloyede and his predecessor Dibu Ojerinde who remitted three million Naira in a year, demanded the probe.

She also said the former heads of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) will be probed.

Bear in mind that in the five billion Naira remittance by Jamb is the highest ever, in its 40 years of operation.
