Chairman of the Jigawa State Assets Recovery Committee, Retired Air Commodore Abubakar Sadiq, yesterday said he would publish the list of items looted from the state in the past four years.

Sadiq stated this in a radio programme monitored in Dutse, the Jigawa State capital.

He said his committee was constituted by Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar to trace and recover all property belonging to the state government such as official vehicles, equipment, furniture and fittings among others.

The chairman called on political and public office holders who looted public property to return them to the committee or the nearest police formation and receive acknowledgement receipt.

He said it was not the intention of the committee to witch-hunt, molest, intimidate or threaten anybody, but that anyone who refuses to return government property will face the law.

He appealed to people of the state who have information about diverted property to report to the nearest police station or secretariat of the committee at the SSG office, Dutse.
