PUBLICATION OF FALSE NEWS AGAINST ALHAJI MUSA YOLA

The above subject matter refers..

We write as counsel to Alhaji Musa Yola (hereinafter referred to as our client) and it is on whose brief and behalf, we write you this letter.

On June 28, 2015, your media house published a news about our client on its online platform that our client was allegedly arrested on the orders of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari, for duping a businessman of N300,000000.00 (Three Hundred Million Naira) only, promising to provide access to secure an Oil block from the Buhari Administration

It further states that our client was released on bail after he returned said amount.

We wish to state here categorically, that our client has at no time collected money from anyone under any guise. Our Client is a law abiding citizen of this country who has been well aware of Mr President’s stance against corruption, being a member of that family and as such would not degenerate so low as to involve himself in a corrupt act.

It is our client’s brief therefore that you retract that news through the same medium and tender an unreserved apology to him on your online platform and two (2) National dailies. Failure to do so, we have the brief and authority to proceed against you in order to redress this wrong.

Be advised that we will not hesitate to use every available legal means at our disposal to enforce our clients rights.

Imperative you comply

Thank You

Yours faithfully,

For: Mabvocate Law House
