FULL LIST: Tinubu reshuffles cabinet, sacks 5 ministers, appoints 7, reassigns 10

President Bola Tinubu has reshuffled his cabinet by reassigning 10 ministers, discharged 5, and appointed 7.

The president in a statement signed by the presidency, titled: “Statement on the restructuring of ministers and ministerial portfolios” said the move was to “reinvigorate the Administration’s capacity for optimal efficiency”.

Tinubu approved the “renaming of the Ministry of Nigeria Delta Development to Ministry of Regional Development”.

He also ordered the immediate winding up of the Ministry of Sports Development and the transfer of its functions to the National Sports Commission.

The president also merged the Federal Ministry of Tourism and the Federal Ministry of Arts and Culture to become Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism, and the Creative Economy.
