PHOTOs: G5 PDP governors regroup, convene at Wike’s residence in Abuja

During the build-up of the 2023 general elections, the G5 governors also called Integrity Group, emerged as aggrieved governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The group was clamouring for the resignation of the then PDP National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, since the party’s presidential ticket was won by a northerner, Atiku Abubakar.

The group members include:

• Nyesom Wike (ex-governor of Rivers state)
• Seyi Makinde (governor of Oyo state)
• Samuel Ortom (ex-governor of Benue state)
• Okezie Ikpeazu (ex-governor of Abia state)
• Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (ex-governor of Enugu state)

The group members of September 20, 2024 were seen together at the residence of the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, in Abuja.
