Abuja DISCO issues disconnection notice to Presidential Villa, Ministry of Power, others

President Bola Tinubu’s Presidential villa, and 85 other ministries, departments, and agencies, under the federal and state governments including the Ministry of Power owe the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company AEDC N47,195 billion in outstanding debts as of December 2023.

The Management of the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has given a 10 days’ notice to the 86 Government Ministry Department and Agencies to pay up the N47.1bn electricity debt they owe or risk disconnection.
