The BBNaija’s ex-housemate is from the Igala tribe in Lokoja, Kogi state.
Although her accent suggests a Ghanaian heritage, Ilebaye is from the Ebira tribe of Nigeria, whose origins can be traced back to Okpo, in the Olamaboro Local Government Area.

According to some reports, she got her Ghanaian accent from her secondary school English teacher, who was Ghanaian.
