27-year-old Nigerian musician, Mohbad, is dead

Nigerian fast-rising musician, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, stage name “MohBad”, has been confirmed dead, according to different posts by the industry authorities.

Mohbad was 27 years old at the time of his death.

“Confirmed. Mohbad is dead. Sad, sad day,” Ovie Ofugara, Not Just Ok boss, wrote on his X account, sharing a broken heart emoji alongside the tweet.

Rapper Olamide Adedeji also took to the platform to mourn him and wrote: “Damn! Mohbad”. In another tweet, Olamide posted, “This life (sic)”

An old video of Bella Shmurda saying Mohbad was battling mental health issues recently resurfaced online minutes after the reported death of the singer.

However, details of his death are still sketchy as of the time of this report.
