Things you can bet in soccer on other than the score

Are you a statistical junkie? Do you stink at predicting scores but good at predicting other random things? If so, soccer sports betting good still be a good option as there is fare more than just the score that you can bet on in soccer which is what the remainder of this article is going to talk about, along with some of the various types of bets that one can make when betting on soccer. Let’s start out with the most obvious, shall we?

First or second-half score

This one should be pretty obvious. Instead of betting on the entire game you can just bet on what the score will be for just the first or second 45 minutes of the game (or maybe a little longer if the game goes into extra time). The way to win at this type of bet is to be as close to the actual score as possible.

Just like anything else that you choose to bet on, of course there are certain things you need to take into consideration. So what should I do if I want to bet on the first or second half score? First, it would be good to look for any patterns on how a team either starts or performs in either the first or second half of it’s game, depending on which half your betting on. I

f your choosing the first half then you also need to look at what the starting lineup will be for the game, which is something that you can easily find at sites such as papa-score.com. If your betting on the second half then you should also know how teams rotate their players and their overall abilities. In addition, it can also be helpful to know things such as the weather conditions and the type of field that they are playing on, which are two factors that can affect a team’s effectiveness in terms of being able to move the ball up and down the field.

How many goals a certain player will score

Just like the first and second half option, this one should be pretty obvious. The factors you need to include for this type of bet is the defense that player is playing against, how well they are playing lately – if it’s easy to find out you should try to find any trends on when and how they score and match it up with the match with which your wanting to bet on.

Money line scoring

Line scoring means that you are essentially placing a bet on a bet. That means your bet will go against the top professional betting service in your area (for example in the United States it would be Las Vegas) that the score will or will not actually cover the line for which the top bettors for that game predict is gonna happen.

Another way you can also bet on money line scoring is by doing a three way, which means that instead of choosing a winner you can predict the game will be a draw. However, if you are going to do that you need to be careful in which games you do that in because it is not always possible for a game to be a draw if it is a winner take all tournament.

Unless your somehow a team employee, this one can be extremely difficult to win. There are technically lots of reasons, but most of them basically come down to the people who do the actual spreads generally have access to a lot more information than you do and since it’s literally their job to figure it out that means they are gonna have much more time to research it. So unless your a statistician this may not be the best way to bet.

Prop bets

Prop bet could be any number of random things. In American football, it can be who wins the coin toss. In our type of football, examples of things that you may be able to bet on are things like how many extra minutes a game could go or who scores the third goal of the game. Unless you see a specific trend on things like that, this can be another type of bet that would be extremely difficult to win.

Double Chance

If your looking to wager big and win big, don’t expect to make a lot of money off of this type of bet. Why? Your selecting two out of three possible outcomes which heavily stacks the odds in your favor of winning the bet. For example, if your betting on a game, in most leagues you can choose two out of three between whether or not they will win, lose or tie. This essentially give you a .5 advantage right off the bat.

Asian Handicap

If your new to sports betting this one could be a double edged sword. The type of bet is a little on the complicated side but the odds of your winning are in your favor as long as you don’t choose an outlandish number. Ultimately, this type of bet involves a team winning by a specific amount so the closer game you predict the higher chance you have of winning.

Futures bets

Futures bets are exactly as advertised. Things that happen in the future and no I don’t mean a game that will randomly be decided a year from now. Examples of futures bets can be which team will win the championship in a certain league or how well or poorly a certain team does over the course of the season. If you have a certain budget which you have and you are near the beginning of the season, this type of bet could be a horrible idea as you will obviously have to wait for your winnings until the end of the season.
