Meet 28-year-old Akarachi Amadi, winner of Mbaitoli/Ikeduru House of Representative Election in Imo

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the All Progressives Congress, APC’s candidate, Akarachi Amadi, as the winner of Saturday’s supplementary election for the Mbaitoli/Ikeduru Federal Constituency in Imo state.

Akarachi Amadi is a 28-year-old politician in the state who defeated the incumbent and candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), received 7,202 votes; Usmond Ukanacho, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, received 6,681 votes; Chinonso Uba, the candidate of the African Democratic Congress, received 4,100 votes; and Godstime Chukwubuikem, the candidate of the Social Democratic Party, received 246 votes.

Engineer Akarachi Amadi is a native of Eziama in Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State.

He is married to Mrs Inimfon Amadi and they are blessed with two children.

Education

Engr. Akarachi Amadi started his academic pursuit at Prime International School Warri where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate FSLC. From there, he proceeded to Straight Gate College Remo, in Ogun State, for his secondary school education.

Amadi attended Covenant University Ota, also in Ogun State, where he bagged a Bachelors of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering.
