Sub-editorNigerians’ responses as gathered from the popular forum Nairaland.
Goodlady:
10am.
Some INEC officials will come late and there’ll be network failures that’ll cause delay in voting.
Go around 10 am and meet a ready unit.
LieDetector:
As a former APO1 who handled the BVAS machine, the best time to go to polling unit tomorrow is by 8:30am. You’ll vote,go back home and prepare better food sufficient to energize you when defending your vote.
ovie8200:
Early morning or after work. Anyway, I’m using American system as polls close like 7 or 8 PM and 9 PM, unlike Nigeria where poll close at 4 pm and still have to wait for day before you know who win.
KakiP:
at least by 7:30 all roads should lead to the Polling Unit, go there and wait for INEC to come.
iphanyiuma:
Election starts by 8:30am and ends by 2:30pm take note and be guided… No african time….
emetisuccess:
8:30am for accreditation before election commences properly.
socialmediaman:
You can always go early and get information first hand from INEC staff instead of relying on other people.
If nothing is happening yet, you come back and go back again an hour later depending.
famouscargo4u:
Wake up early, prepare food . Go with snacks and water, Umbrella will be needed too. Leave home by 7-7.30 AM with the hope of returning before 2.
zedegit:
By 9:30am since accreditation starts by 8:30am unless you want to carry it for head then you can go by 8am and watch what’s going on.
Stay safe and don’t engage in idle talks there. If possible stay on your own and be vigilant.
