Elections: How to report any police officer or Nigerian for unlawful conduct

The Nigerian general election is a significant one in which citizens select a new president to pilot the nation’s affairs for the next four years.

Certain security agency officers may try to disrupt the peaceful conduct of the election, even though the action is against their lawful duties.

Likewise, some Nigerians may also be paid by politicians to disrupt the electoral process so that the result can favour their candidate and political party.

The Nigerian Police Force (NPF) has released emergency contacts to report any police officer engaged in actions outside their lawful duties during the elections.

Also, there are hotlines to report any suspicious individuals so that the police can swiftly attend to the matter and ensure peaceful conduct of the election across the country.
