Timi Dakolo is a singer, songwriter, and music producer from Nigeria.
He was born on the 20th of January, 1981, in Accra, Ghana. Timi is 41 as of 2022.
The vocal singer was the winner of the first edition of the Idols West Africa. He has released many hit songs in the course of his career and also won many reputable awards for his crafts.
Timi is currently signed to Muzik as his record label.

Career
Timi rose to prominence when he won the maiden edition of the famous music reality show, Idols West Africa
The judges were blown away by his singing, and he was projected to win which he did.
Throughout the competition, Timi Dakolo never finished in the bottom three. According to the show’s producers, Timi won the most votes during each of the competition’s final three weeks.
Timi Dakolo’s debut single, which had three tracks, was released in 2009. In 2011, he released the song “There’s a Cry.”
The Christmas album “Merry Christmas, Darling” by Timi Dakolo, including duets from Emeli Sandé and Kenny G as guests, was released in November 2019.

Timi Dakolo’s wife, Busola allegedly accused the founder of The Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of raping her as a young girl.
