President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday returned to Abuja after a successful routine medical check-up in the United Kingdom.
Buhari and members of his entourage arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja on Sunday evening.
NewsWireNGR reports that on October 31, 2022, the president left the country for London, UK, for a medical check-up.
In an earlier statement by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, the President was expected to return to the country the second week of November.
Prior to leaving, Buhari in Abuja met with security chiefs to further review and strengthen security network in the country.
The President had cancelled his planned inauguration of the new Technology and Innovation complex of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) to preside over the National Security Council emergency meeting.
