Buhari jets out to London for medical checkup

President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to leave for London, United Kingdom, UK, on Monday for a medical check-up.

The disclosure was made by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, via a tweet on his verified personal handle @FemiAdesina earlier in the day.

President Buhari leaves for London October 31, 2022, for routine medical checkup. He returns to the country 2nd week of November, 2022.

Adesina noted the President will return to the country the second week of November.

NewsWireNGR reports Buhari in Abuja met with security chiefs to further review and strengthen security network in the country.

The President had canceled his planned inauguration of the new Technology and Innovation complex of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) to preside over the emergency meeting of the National Security Council.
