Biography

Tomi Odunsi Fadina is a Nigerian television personality, actress, singer, and songwriter.

She was born on May 24, 1987, in Ogun State, Nigeria. Tomi Odunsi is 35 years old as of 2022.

She was renowned for playing the role of “Salewa” in Tinsel, a famous African soap opera.

Tomi is also the CEO and founder of CGT Media Ltd., an African entertainment and media company.

Education

After her elementary and secondary education, Tomi proceeded to the University of Lagos, where she bagged a Bachelor of Arts degree in linguistics and African languages with a major in the Yoruba language.

Career

Tomi debuted on stage at the age of 17. Tinsel was her first television show after appearing on stage in a couple of plays.

She has appeared in many films since then, including Runs with Taiwo Ajai Lycett and Ireti Doyle, Render to Caesar with Bimbo Manuel, Omoni Oboli, Wale Ojo, and many more.

She also worked with Bryan Okwara, Beverly Naya, and Omawumi on the song “In the Music.” She works for the record label City of Great Talents (CGT)

Tomi made her musical debut in April 2013 at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos with the song “I Wan Blow.”

In 2015, she presided over the Rhythm N’ Play event, which former President Goodluck Jonathan attended alongside celebrities such as Ice Prince, MI, and others.

She recently released Papi, a new song that was leaked online. She discusses the Child Not Bride movement in it, which has strong vocals and calming melodies that can be heard in the song.
