Oluwakemisola Anotallahi Ajike Afolabi, famously known as Kemi Afolabi, is a Yoruba Nollywood actress, director, producer and legal practitioner.
She was born on April 8, 1980. Kemi Afolabi is 42 years old as of 2022.
Education
Kemi Afolabi attended Tunwase Nursery & Primary School for her elementary education before heading to Our Lady of Apostles School and A-Z International School for her secondary education.
She then proceeded to the University of Lagos, where she graduated with an LLB Honours degree in Law.
Career
She accepted an invitation from students in the Department of Creative Arts to join them in a theatre production near the end of her first degree at the University of Lagos.
Her participation in the project triggered her interest in acting.
She made her film debut in the Yoruba film “Alagba,” but to many’s surprises, she took a nearly five-year hiatus from the profession between 2008 and 2013. The remarkable thing was that her absence did not affect her career in the sector. Following her return, Kemi began creating scripts and auditioning for film parts.

In March 2022, Kemi disclosed that she had been diagnosed with Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), and her doctor said she had five years to live.
