Lagos police confirm the death of Ifeanyi Adeleke, the son of Davido

The Lagos police command has confirmed the death of Ifeanyi Adeleke, the son of Davido, the Afrobeats singer.

Speaking with TheCable Lifestyle on Monday morning, Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s PRO, also disclosed that some staff members are currently being questioned.

He said the staffers are being investigated for negligence to ascertain which of them are culpable in the case.

“There’s not much to say. Some domestic staff were brought in for questioning to find out what they know about it. Anybody found culpable or guilty of negligence will stay back and assist in the ongoing investigation,” he said.

Ifeanyi Adeleke was born on October 20, 2019, although the couple has not yet officially tied the knot.

On Monday night, reports surfaced, claiming that the three-year-old drowned in a pool.

Details of the circumstances surrounding Ifeanyi’s death are still sketchy.
