EPL: Manchester United banish Ronaldo from squad
English football club, Manchester United, have banished Cristiano Ronaldo, from its Saturday’s squad scheduled to face rival, Chelsea.
This is coming after the multiple Ballon d’Or winner went down the tunnel at Old Trafford before final whistle during a match against Tottenham Hotspurs.
Erik ten Hag, the club’s manager, during a briefing after the 2-0 win against Tottenham, had reacted; “I will deal with that tomorrow, not today. We are now celebrating this victory”.
The club’s official statement on Thursday reads; “Cristiano Ronaldo will not be part of the Manchester United squad for this Saturday’s Premier League game against Chelsea.
“The rest of the squad is fully focused on preparing for that fixture.”
