Actors and actresses in Nigeria can be broadly classified into three categories: A-list, B-list and C-list.

The A-list actors/actresses are well-known and their faces alone will make their fans want to watch a movie.

On the other hand, the B-list are average actors. Some are great in their performances; except that they do not have much fans compared with the A-list.

The C-list actors are new entrants to the industry. They either feature in low-class movies or act in minor roles in popular ones.

New actors and actresses in Nigeria can earn as little as N15,000 per script. The B-list list actors can earn between N50,000 and N200,000, while the A-list actors and actresses can charge as much as N10 million per script.
