1. Benin Wall

Anambra state has a small bird that has several gorgeous colours. The name of this bird is Waxbill, and it’s nowhere else in the world except in the southern part of Nigeria.

5. Igbo-Ora

Another name given to the town of Igbo-Ora is Nigeria’s home of twins. Just like you must’ve predicted. This place boasts of the largest birth of twins in the world.

6. Fastest Supercomputer

Philip Emeagwali, the world-renowned scientist and investor, is the brain behind the worldwide fastest supercomputer. The sweetest part is that this genus is a Nigerian.

7. Chevrolet Volt

Sure, you won’t believe a Nigerian that designed the Chevrolet Volt you’ve always admired. But it’s true, the name of that Nigerian citizen is Jelani Aliyu and he hails from Sokoto state.

8. Education

Nigerian immigrants in the US are the most educated. In the US, 60% of Nigerians are college graduates, while the national average for Americans is 30%. This and many more interesting facts are the reasons Nigeria will continue to stand out!

9. Nollywood

Nigeria is the proud producer of the richest blackman. With a whopping net worth of $14 billion, Aliko Dangote, who hails from Kano state, is the richest man in Africa.
