Trailer footage of James Cameron’s Avatar 2 released after a decade

A decade after James Cameron’s Avatar, 20th Century Fox has released footage of the much expected sequel ‘Avatar 2’, finally confirming a release date for the much awaited film.

The second movie is title ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ and will be released December 16, 2022, according to 20th Century Fox’s trailer.

Avatar 2 which wold have been released in 2014, is expected to star its original cast which will include Sam Worthington as Jake Sully, Zoe Saldana as Neytiri, and Sigourney Weaver. It will also have new members that include, Michelle Yeoh, Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore and Oona Chaplin.

According to the official YouTube page for the film, Avatar 2 is set more than a decade after the events of the first film, shining light on the family of Jake Sully and the trouble that follows them, as well as the lengths they go to keep each other safe.
