Netflix Live-action adaptation of DC Comics ‘The Sandman’ is in post-production
The live action adaptation for the Neil Gaiman comic ‘The Sandman’ has been one of Netflix’s highly anticipated series to be released on the streaming service.
In 2019, the Netflix announced, a live-action adaptation of the DC Comics published comic will be in the world. There has been speculation that the release will be in May of 2022, but that will not be happening as there hasn’t been an official word from Netflix about a release date.
The first season of the Netflix series if expected to have 11 episodes which will be aired sometime in 2022. It will star Tom Sturridge, Gwendoline Christie, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, and Jenna Coleman, according to online film database of information IMDb.
The actors reportedly have been in post production since April 17, 2022, hinting at the possibility of a release date being much farther than a lot of people expect.
