Nasir El-Rufai Biography
Nasir El-Rufai was born on the 16th of February 1960 in Daudawa Northern Region, Nigeria. He is 62 years old (as of 2022).
He is a Nigerian politician and has been in office as the governor of Kaduna state since 2015.
Party, Political Career and Education
El-Rufai was born to a Fulani family. He was sponsored through his school at a young age by his uncle. This was because his father died early and El-Rufai was just 8 years old at that time.
He graduated from Ahmadu Bello University with Bachelor’s Degree (First Class Honour) in Quantity Surveying. He also attended post-graduate programs at Harvard and Georgetown Universities.
Before becoming the governor of Kaduna state, he had been the minister of the Federal Capital Territory from 2003 to 2007.
He has been a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) since 2013.

El-Rufai is married to three wives and has children and they are Hamza El Rufai, Yasmin El Rufai, Biikisu El-Rufai, Mustapha El-Rufai, and Ahmed El-Rufai.
