Ric Hassani disables Twitter account following shade at colleagues, praise for Burnaboy

Nigerian singer Ikechukwu Eric Ahiauzu, stage name ‘Ric Hassani’ shared his opinion on Burna Boy’s performance at the Madison Square Garden, USA, on April, 29, 2022.

The singer took to his verified Twitter account to praise Burna Boy for his impressive performance, referencing the lackluster performance of other Nigerian singers at their shows, where thy apparently “mime and yell on stage”.

He also added that the performance should be a standard for Nigerian musicians moving forward.

“I hope everyone has seen Burna’s MSG performance and I hope that becomes the standard, no more nonsense mimings and yellings on the stage please. That’s how to do it. Class. Odogwu.” he wrote.

Ric received a lot of negative responses from fans of other Nigerian singers, with one Twitter user pointing out the fact that Ric doesn’t sell out his shows.

Following the backlash from his tweet, It seems the Alternative pop singer has disabled his Twitter account. If you look it up on Twitter, it tells you the account does not exist.
