Burna Boy claims he paved way for other Nigerian musicians

Nigerian singer Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, stage name ‘Burna Boy’ is boastfully claiming he opened doors for the Nigerian music industry. 

The singer shared this via a tweet from his verified Twitter account on March 26, 2022. 

In the tweet, he explains he has been making history and opening doors that would have remained closed without his influence. 

His tweet reads “Na now all bloggers dey wake up. Lol. Ive been making history and opening doors that Could have NEVER opened without me.” 

He also noted that blogs didn’t mention that but focused on his statement about being the highest paid musician in Africa.

“dem no see that 1 post or talk about, Na highest paid dey enter their eye.  They want me to put them on payroll but I never needed them.” he wrote.

Burna boy stated earlier on March 25, 2022, that he is the highest-paid artiste in the history of African music. 

“I said money doesn’t satisfy me and it’s my Truth but it Doesn’t change the fact that I’m the highest paid artist in the History of African music. Believe it or not.”
