Expired inverter battery ignites fire at Ministry of Finance
An expired inverter battery at the ministry of finance ignited a fire after it exploded in the early hours of Wednesday.
However, the fire according to eyewitnesses did not cause any major damage to the building as it was promptly responded to and put out.
Confirming the incident, an official of the ministry said it was “a minor fire incident.”
Likewise, the Spokesperson of the Federal Fire Service, Abraham Paul, said that the personnel of the fire service are currently battling the fire.
