Cyberfraud: Hushpuppi’s sentencing postponed from February 14 to July 11

Ramon Olorunwa Abbas, popularly known as Hushpuppi, whose sentencing was scheduled for February 14, 2022, will be sentenced on July 11, 2022, as the United States District Court for the Central District of California has postponed his sentencing, following a postponement request.

Judge Otis. D. Wright in Los Angeles, granted the postponement request on February 2, 2022, after it was filed by Hushpuppi’s lawyers led by Louis Shapiro.

The court document after the decision was taken reads “At the request of counsel, the sentencing is continued to July 11, 2022, at 11:00 am,”.

The postponement order was granted by Judge Otis. D. Wright in Los Angeles following a request issued by Hushpuppi’s lawyers, led by Louis Shapiro.
