French fashion icon, Manfred Thierry Mugler, is dead
French fashion designer and creative director of Mugler, Manfred Thierry Mugler, has passed away at the age of 73.
“We are devastated to announce the passing of Mr Manfred Thierry Mugler on Sunday January 23rd 2022. May his soul Rest In Peace.” reads a statement from the designers verified Instagram account, confirming his death.

There is still no information on the cause of death.
Thierry Mugler was a defining factor in 80s fashion and worked with celebrities who sometimes modelled for him, launching the phenomenon of celebrities as models.
He has worked with singers like Diana Ross, Beyoncé, Celine Dion, David Bowie, Cardi B, and Lady Gaga.
