How Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe remarried her ex-husband’s friend

Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe has remarried after 4 years of separation from her former husband, Otunba Lanre Gentry.

The actress made the announcement on Sunday, January 23, 2022, to celebrate the birthday of the new husband who goes by the name of Kazim Adeoti, popularly known as Adekaz Productions in the Yoruba movies.

She revealed that their marriage took place in December of 2021 without any fanfare. Lanre and Mercy parted ways after a 7-year tumultuous union, oftentimes leading to violence and public dramas. While Mercy accused Lanre of domestic violence, Lanre accused the actress of infidelity.

In his reactions to Mercy Aigbe’s marriage, the former husband posted a picture of himself, the actress and the new husband of the actress, to tell the world the man the actress just married used to be his friend

“At last I thank God the truth is out. This is just one out of many. Glory be to God,” he wrote. He shared a throwback photo of him and Mercy, when they were still married, posing with Kazim Adeoti and his wife Funsho Adeoti.

The dama is yet to be over, as Funsho Adeoti, the wife of movie marketer Kazim Adeoti, has also reacted after actress Mercy Aigbe showed off Kazim as her new man.

She shared a photo of her and her kids alongside a popular quote that reads: “Losing someone who doesn’t respect or appreciate you is actually a gain not a loss… thank you all”.
