Davido reveals his motto for 2022
Nigerian-American singer, songwriter, and record producer David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has announced his motto for 2022.
The singer took to his Twitter on Tuesday to announce that his motto for 2022 is to “Make money and ignore”.
His tweet reads “This years motto: Make money and ignore”
Davido’s first album won Best R&B/Pop Album and received a nomination for Album of the Year at the 2013 Headies Awards. This was after the Album received a lot of negative reviews for lyrical content.
His hit single of 2013, Skelewu, ranked 5th on the Premium Times‘ list of the top 10 songs of 2013.
Davido announced on Twitter he signed a record deal with SONY music in January of 2016, and SONY, in a press conference, confirmed the news.
Shortly after signing a deal with SONY, he founded his record label Davido Music Worldwide (DMW).
He signed another deal in 2016 with RCA records, USA. The singer has won multiple awards since his rise to the limelight.
