BREAKING: Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram down

Applications owned by Facebook, Inc. have been hit by outages.

The applications which include Facebook (social media/connection application), Instagram (photo-sharing platform), and WhatsApp (instant messaging platform) at the time of publication were not loading.

A check with Down.com also confirmed the development.

However, even though the Down tool was able to discover that Instagram was online, a refresh of the Instagram app does not return any fresh results.

WhatsApp web was also down. Although the mobile app is still opening, no new messages were delivered or sent on WhatsApp.
