‘Say No to child defilement’ – Princess reacts to R.Kelly’s conviction

Nigerian comedienne, Princess, has reiterated her stance against sexual harassment of minors in her reaction to R.Kelly’s conviction for racketeering and sex trafficiking.

R. Kelly on Monday was convicted of leading a decades-long sex crime ring, with a New York jury finding the superstar singer guilty on all nine charges.

Reacting to the judgement, Princess took to her Instagram page, sharing a number of hashtags against child defilement and also attached a Bible verse against harming minors and forcing them to sin

The Bible verse read “but who so shall cause one of these little ones who believe in Me to fall, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.”

NewsWireNGR had earlier reported that Princess has an ongoing court case against colleague, Baba Ijesha over the alleged defilement of her foster child.

Baba Ijesha was charged with indecent treatment of a child, defilement of a child, sexual assault by penetration, attempted sexual assault by penetration and sexual assault, which contravene sections 135, 137, 261, 202, 262 and 263 of the Lagos State Criminal Law, 2015.

He was first granted bail on May 17 — after spending about 25 days in police detention — by magistrates in charge of prison decongestion.

But he was remanded in police custody till a Lagos State High Court in Ikeja on Thursday, June 24 granted him bail.
