Notorious bandits terrorising the Northern part of the country has again struck in Katsina, the home state of President Muhammadu Buhari, this time kidnapping the wife of a member of the state House of Assembly.

According to a former Kaduna senator who disclosed the development, the bandits carried out the heinous act at night.

In a Twitter post, Shehu Sani said; “While the elder brother of the Katsina state Secretary to the Government is still in the hands of Bandits, the terrorists have struck again this night and kidnapped the wife of a member of state House of Assembly Dr Ibrahim Kurami.

“It’s time for the President to save Katsina state”.

Meanwhile, Omoyele Sowore’s younger brother, Olajide Sowore, was shot dead by gunmen suspected to be herdsmen/kidnappers on his way from school in Edo.

“Dr Mamiye” according to his brother is a Pharmacy student at the Igbinedion University in Edo state.

He had earlier dropped out of school to explore the world of music until he decided to return to school after he “almost turned 50!”.

The former presidential aspirant in a mourning statement said; “I have VERY SAD NEWS! They snuffed out the life of yet another real human being! Rest In Power, “Dr Mamiye!”

“This act in itself will not delay their day of justice.

“I travelled widely with you and our father as a little kid. You were the most loved robust kid I ever first knew.

“You, Mr. magnet had no enemy! You, Mr Sunshine Foundation who made everyone happy.

“You, the boy who snuck out his older ones to parties, taking all the blames when our disciplinarian father found out.

“You, the guy who was an out-of-the-box thinker who decided school wasn’t for you and created your own genre of music and then turned around to go to school after you almost turned 50!

“You lived your life so that everyone could be alright but now assassinated by everything that’s not alright!

“Saddest day yet!”
