My last discussion with my son before his death — Na’Allah

Senator Bala Na’Allah, who represents Kebbi South Senatorial District of Kebbi State, has revealed his last conversation with his eldest son, Captain Abdulkarim Bala Na Allah, before he was strangled to death.

According to reports, Captain Abdulkareem, a civil pilot, was strangled and found dead inside his bedroom at his Government Reserved Area residence in Malali, Kaduna North Local Government Area of Kaduna State, on Sunday.

The killers were reported to have gained entry into the house through the ceiling of the house.

Na’Allah who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on Air Force however stated that eight hours before the murder of his 36-year-old son, he had discussion with him over the security situation in the country, adding, “Little did he know that he had less than eight hours to live.”

Meanwhile, the Kaduna State Government had earlier described Pilot Abdulkarim’s death as “appearing to be a case of culpable homicide”.

Mr Samuel Aruwan, Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, stated this in a statement he issued on Sunday in Kaduna.

“In what appears to be a case of culpable homicide, the deceased was found in a bedroom in his residence in Malali, Kaduna North LGA, apparently after having been strangled with a rope.

“A vehicle was stolen from his parking lot by the assailants,’’ the statement said.
